TIPS FOR HOOKING UP YOUR VAN
1. Ensure indicators and brake lights are working.
2. Jockey wheel removed.
3. Ensure weight distribution hitch is fitted correctly.
4. Make sure safety chain is connected by A rated D shackle.
5. Make sure caravan handbrake is released.
6. Make sure coupling is secured correctly to towball and appropriate hitch.
7. Ensure towing mirrors are fitted correctly to vehicle.
8. Use of couple mate helps align the tow vehicle and caravan.
9. Make sure van is loaded correctly, such that heavier weights are on the floor.
10. If van has a step, place step securely into place.
